Can anyone confirm if these engines are interference or not?

Oh well that makes a lot more sense then, someone else said they weren't. So my motor died due to slipped timing belt.

Most likely. If it jumped a tooth or two and threw the timing off like that pistons contacted valves, which cracked pistons, caused them to seize and there goes the whole ball game. My vote would be just gut the whole thing out and start over with a new short block. Don't forget to replace the oil cooler, etc. Granted, this will be expensive, but it is better to do it right the first time then have to rip the whole thing up again.

Good luck with your build.

Also, you said there was a cam bolt loose? On which side(intake or exhaust)? How loose was the cam bolt? Had the cam gear walked off it's cog?

Just wondering what exactly caused this as i don't know if the timing belt would slip very easily on it's own.
