Perrin drop in filter?
I noticed world one performance has the Perrin drop in filter on their site for $30 dollars. Anyone use this yet? What do you guys think about this? You guys think it might work as good as K&N drop in filter.
So it sounds like everyone is deciding to just keep the stock airbox and use a drop in....Now you guys are making me want to turn away from purchasing the HKS RS, and just staying with the stock box....hmmmm...Maybe I see an ARC in my future or something??
Not that intakes are bad, but the time needed to properly tune and adjust for MAF readings are a pain in the ***. And in the end you gain what, ~5whp if that much?
Not worth it IMO (especially for the what, $200-$300 you spend on the intake?)
I'm still waiting on the intake game, I might get a drop-in soon but we're starting to see CAI's on the market now, so who knows...?
