FP Red Help!!

I got a FP Red and the Buschur Racing LICP. Now the problem is that on the stock LICP there is a nipple that is T'ed in with the vacuum line on the wastegate. On the Buschur LICP there is no nipple. I was told that i need to T it in with the vacuum line that goes from my BOV to the mass air flow pipe. Is that right because it doesnt sound right to me? If that is not right does anyone know where i need to T that line into. Could i just take the T out and run the vacuum line from the wastegate to the sensor. Any help will be appreciated.

This is kinda off topic but does anyone know what that sensor is?

You can perfectly well "T" your MBC boost reference source into the line that runs from the intake manifold to the diverter valve. That line you then connect to the bottom port(the port diametrically opposed to your MBC's adjustment knob) on your Hallman.

But, I am a little bit confused. Now, I have never seen the Buschur LICP myself so I am batting in the dark. But you state that the factory LICP has a nipple for boost reference.

If I am not mistaken it it not the factory LICP that sports a nipple. It is instead the compressor outlet discharge tube, aka, J-pipe, that comes equipped with a reference nipple. Or am I wrong?

EDIT: I remember reading on this forum, long ago, that DB prefers to "T" into that IM/DV line as a boost reference source. So that could explain why he eliminates the nipple on his LICP. Does the Buschur LICP do away with the J-pipe? Is it one piece from the compressor housing outlet down to the intercooler inlet?

You are not mistaken it is the factory J-pipe that has the nipple. The Buschur LICP does not do away with the J-pipe. They have the J-pipe but not the nipple.

Look, a lot of peeps prefer using the nipple on the J-pipe as a reference source for their MBC's. That is the way that I currently have mine hooked up. However, I originally had the boost referenced off a "T" spliced into IM/DV line. Personally, I preferred this latter method as it seemed to afford a slightly quicker spool-up. To each his own.

Agreed 100%. You can T the BOV line just the same. I have to agee with Sparky even more as the BOV line seemed to have less boost fluctuation for me vs. the J-Pipe nipple. Though I tried it both ways many times

I had the Bushur J-Pipe at one point too and correct it does not have a nipple to source boost many drill and tap a fitting in
