Idle problem after tune

hey guys i recently got a tune and the car is having some issues with the idle. my tuner adjusted the set screw on the throttle body because he didnt want it stalling at lights until the ecu learned the new tune. after stalling several times at lights on the way home....i got to the highway and it was fine because i didnt do any stopping. i got home and it seemed fine for a while but then i turned it on and the idle went to 2k and stayed there. i tried adjusting the set screw and it made the idle a little better but it is still crazy when i am driving. it will jump off of 1k when approaching lights and stay at about 1300rpms. the car also has a funny ticking noise when i start driving from a stop. lastly it stalls in reverse every now and then. please help! i dont want to bother my tuner.

Did you just get the kelfords installed??

Touch the set screw??? why didn't they bump up the idle in the mapping.

no the kelfords have been installed for a while and i had no problems with them and my FP red. after he tuned my car he screwed the set screw on the throttle body to keep my idle higher so i wouldnt stall at lights but i did anyway. i screwed it a little so that it wouldnt stay at 2k at lights but it is still pretty crazy. it doesnt stall at lights anymore which is why i dont think it has to do with the tune.

Boost leak test. Is your A/C on or off, defroster on or off? If your idle is bouncing it could be your IAC failing or the o-ring could be leaking around it

Sup dude do you think you can send me a copy of your map and I can take a look at it? I have the same cams and my idle is crisp at 850k. Did you change anything else other then the turbo and IC for the new setup?

I don't have the map and I don't think it is the tuners fault. I haven't heard one bad thing about him and I had no problem with my other tune. I just changed the turbo, intercooler and I changed boost controllers....the idle is pretty ridiculous.I have a Perrin air filter btw

That Idle screw (aka BISS) is NOT suppose to be adjusted unless you use EVOscan to adjust it correct.

Also, the idle should have been fixed in the ROM, not by using the BISS.
