I was thinking the same exact thing. I remember on my DSM the idle adjustment screw was a big no-no

Mike I spoke to a few people and you need to change your sig to "GrimmSpeed BCS" BTW that is what is making the ticking noise. Remember it's a MAC Valve and it installs on the frame rail inside the engne bay. So you will hear alot more. I have one too but I have a o2 dump so I don't hear it at all . As for your idle. I found out you do all your own wrench work? If that is the case then check all your vac lines second do a boost leak.

Thanks for the tuning tip...

I'm guessing that's why my laptop was in the car when it was being adjusted.

Anyway, bring the car by... Sounds like a vacuum leak.

As for the the ticking noise while you pull away from a stop light, that would be the BCS. Sometimes depending when were it is mounted they will be noisy.

I wasnt giving you any tuning tips. And I never said or assumed you adjusted the BISS without using EVOscan.

I just mentioned that is the proper procedure. And if proper procedure wasnt taken, then that may be a problem.

The OP mention he played with the BISS too. So what I said was more directed at him.

hey junior...yeah maybe i will bring it down. thats a good thing to hear if the ticking is just the boost controller....thats a relief

as for the idle...i will check all of the hoses the go from the turbo to the BCS, intake, turbo etc...if i cant figure it out then i will call jimmy and ask

also could i have screwed something up for changing the screw by myself? the idle was just stuck at 2k so i thought it would help

i checked all of the hoses and stuff today...the idle has improved but i still get these moments when i push in the clutch from a slow roll and the car almost dies. it also turns over slowly when i start it a lot. im starting to wonder if its the cam angle sensor or crank angle sensor but i have no clue.

someone give me suggestions!!!

i really cant help you out with the sensor question but as far as the starting problem i had the same thing it was acting up on me a few months after i took the heat shield off the starter and then the starter took a **** on me. i ended up having to replace it even tho the car was only a year old. but if thats not your case then check the starter cable, if thats coming loose, you would have a bad connection and it will cause starting problems
