I would volunteer the car contigent of a few things.
Pump gas in Cali is 91 octane. What would I need to do in between running 91 vs 100 octane? I'm sure we don't one setting for either gas,,

I'd prove the gains on the dyno and more importantly, on the strip.

David check your PMs and call me. We've talked a few times already. I was the first muffler delete pipe, have a cat delete, SAFC, and a Hallman MBC currently and will instantly buy that 2.5" DP if you want to use my car. I would LOVE to be tuned on your dyno. I will take off work to drive to Ohio at the drop of a hat!

Here are the answers to the questions above.

The turbo kit is still waiting on the manifolds to come here. The first two manifolds are scheduled to be poured through the molds the 21st. I will then take those two over to the CNC shop and have them put the bolt holes in them, machine the gasket surfaces and drill and tap the heat shield holes. The manifold is going to use the stock heat shield. One of these will go on our car to check to make sure everything clears correctly. The first batch of 50 manifolds will get poured within days of the first two. I expect to have kits ready to ship no later than the middle of December.

ECU management. We are currently using the AFC which is working kick butt for us, this is our standard tuning piece. We have the AEM on our car now which is a complete standalone. We will not be using the UTEC on the car. We have it on our WRX and it works OK.

The settings for 91 octane and 94 octane have proven to be the same at this point. We did not tune the cars on the ragged edge so the settings are working fine. If you switch over to 100 octane it is going to allow the car to run more timing giving you more power and if you have the desire you will be able to get by with another pound or two of boost. No other tuning of the AFC will be needed.

I'm holding my breath for 290-300awhp - using (93) octane fuel
This set up is gonna make one wicked "daily driver." A new clutch would surely lower those 12.8's & 9's to 12.5's, 6's, or 7's... BTW, the ZO6 Corvette ($49,500.00) does the 1/4 mile in 12.5 sec., with a "good" driver.
So think on that people

True, but that leaves $19,000 in the pocket for the Evo owner and room for 5

A new Z06 will tear your 1997 BMW Z3 1.9L 4cyl
Supercharged plus endless mods...
up. Comments like yours are lame. Two different cars, that should be appreciated for what they do in BONE STOCK form.

David, I'll call the shop this week and work out the details.
