Hot IAC ... Really hot..
Long story short - was doing a compression test to the motor. All came out well. Double checking vac lines and throttle body seals .. when my hand bumped my iac... Now the car had been off for a good 2 hours at this point - just sitting with the key at "on" while I moved the tester between cylinders.. and.. Holy crap.. it was INSANELY hot. So I grabbed my freakin IR Themo... It was WAY to hot to touch for more then a split second....

Now.. I have the 2K cold start idle problem associated with v7. Havent worked on this yet. But after the 4-5 second 2k run.. it idles solid at 1100. I get a some searching when i let off hard after a pull and here and there.. but not once its started idling..
SO... what the hell does this mean? Is this .. normal?
I pulled key and stopped testing at this point.. waited about 2 mins and took this reading..

Pretty much everything in that area can get that hot; 180F is the standard trigger temp of the thermostat
Not sure why it'd be hot just sitting there at key on though, never noticed that before.
