Wierd and Dangerous Problem

So my car has developed an inconvienient habit of dying on highway entrance ramps. It happened once before in really heavy rain so I just assumed it sucked up a little water or something but today was completely dry and it happened again so now I see this as a problem. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I put in 1200cc injectors because it's also been starting really rough since then. It doesn't bog out or anything, it just dies, I don't even realize the car is off until I try turning lol. Spark plugs only have like 6k on them, car has 31k on it. I'm going to check the ignition this weekend. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

CAR HAS BEEN TUNED WITH ALL CURRENT MODS

You can't just throw in 1200cc injectors.

Perhaps no tune for the injectors may be the root cause as he said..

That wouldn't matter after the car was started.

If you got your 1200's tuned...and you're not completely lacking...

Compression test your engine, you may have hydrolocked it and bent a valve or shorted a rod.

I've personally shortened a con rod when a liquid to air intercooler sprung a leak.... still ran afterwards, but didn't make as much powa!

Compression test was done a few weeks ago, pretty sure motor didn't actually hydrolock, it was just my way of writing it off and not having to do work lol. No loss of power or other signs of a bent internals.

I dont know about the EVO but loose battery terminal matters on some cars.

On my old 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V , I left the battery terminal loose and it started dying on me randomly. I didnt know why until one day it wouldnt crank or have any electrical power. Thats when it hit me and I quickly tightened down the terminals and power flowed through to crank.

If the Evo is the same way make sure you tighten the terminals. A quick check would be to keep the car running and unhook one of the terminals and see if it still runs.

1200cc injectors, Kelford 272s, Supertech valve train and Forge Recirc are the only mods that were installed for this tune that began the problems. I also got Injen intercooler piping and intake, greddy tbe and o2 housing, and Walboro 255. Car hasn't really had any history to speak of. Nothing before I bought it at 14k and no problems since until now.
