My a/c compressor is out and I live in texas I was wondering if the evo 8's have the same a/c compressor as the regular lancers? Does any one know? If so, I could go to a local junk yard and pick one up for a lot cheaper then going to Mitsubishi. I have searched for a few days and cant seem to find this information out. Any help would be highly appreciated. TIA

Whats the part number and i will see if it is the same as mine .

I can also see if a friend has one at a Evo performance shop (Jms Racing)

car-part.com search on here and get one shipped to you from a junk yard.

 

the ac compressor fits a few Mitsus BUT you will need to use your clutch if the a/c comp is not off and Evo
part # for the compressor only is MR500250

00-02 Mirage only 1.8 pump only the same clutch different
03-06 Evo direct fit obviously
04-06 2.4 Lancer pump only clutch is dfferent
