I think one of the FP turbos or CBRD BBK would be a great turbo to use.

Good luck modding!

I've had great luck with both, if you would like to Pm on your specific goals and set-up I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

HTA Green I honestly wouldnt bother with the tomei. HTA Green will have more potential.

The Tomei is not for everybody but a lot of people still enjoy it. I do agree though that the HTA Green is one of the best turbo's I've seen in a while though.

The tomei is a very mild turbo. I would agree that the HTA green or BBK full are way better options.

Go with the larger FP Red. You wont regret it. I'll have my built motor dynod here in a week or so and I don't think I'll have much of a problem hitting 600hp on my Red. Great turbo hands down

his power goal is a little over 400, pointless to go with a red if your only looking for 400ish hp

I would go with a Precision turbo. They have a bunch of different options and it comes with a 1 year warranty. But of those two I like the FP. I just got rid of my green and it was pretty nice but it was time to go bigger.

Tomei is close to the stock IX turbo. Go with the FP!

haha thanks for all the feedback, i hadnt really heard alot about the turbos, its just what i heard alot of people ran. my plan was to have hks 272 cams, full race manifold, ams intake manifold and arp head studs. i already have a 3 inch TBE. and then build the motor after getting it tuned on that. like i said i want to be around 400ish, but dont want to have major problems with the stock motor. ive only had my evo about 2 months now so im still learning alot about them.

I wouldn't go with a ams intake mani loss alot of low end power go with a ported stocker.
O and My vote is HtaGreen for turbo .
