Is this thing loctited(is that the proper adjective?) or what? I almost stripped it with a regular screwdriver so I bought an impact, and I still can't get it to budge.

The hex bolt in the oil filter housing? You need to heat it up a little to get it to break loose. Good luck.

No sir, the set screw on the oil pump housing. It's an actual phillips head screw. I got an impact screwdriver, but the instructions were too vauge A friend got home that had used one before and it came right off. Turns out I was just hammering it, not actually turning it either way.
