This is my first post so im sorry if its a bit off or wrong.

I have recently just moved from Aus to the US (laguna beach) for a bit of fun and to just live life to the fullest.

Now being that i had to leave everything back in Aus i needed a car to get me around in so i got a low mile Evo 8 for a bit of fun for a while.
Being that im young , stupid and spend money like water i have a list of upgrades which i will be placing an order for but having never owned an evo i need some help in making sure i havent forgotten anything or if something needs to be improved from what i have chosen.

Starting with:
AMS race intercooler kit
Brian crower 280 cams
Brian crower valve springs and retainers
HKS cam gears
HKS timing belt
HKS metal head gasket
AMS GT900x turbo kit (polished-upgraded)
AMS 1000hp fuel system (dont think it includes injectors-could be wrong)
1200cc injectors
Carbonetic carbon twin plate clutch kit
Unsure on engine management (haltech, motec etc)
AMS small battery kit
HKS oil cooler thermostat
Greedy oil cooler kit
AMS rebuild kit - upgraded (pistons, rods, gaskets etc i think its good for 800hp)
Water/meth injection

Thats about the basics...am i missing anything?

For not its hard enough trying to remember which way my house from the shops. Let alone all the local import scene.

 

you need to add guages aem or innovate wideband aem boost and aem oil pressure. brain crower are just crap cams. Get S2 or kelford 272. I would also go with supertech springs and retainers. instead of ams rebuild kit just get a built 2.0 from them or buschur or many other vendors on here. dont forget your tune as well. you also missed a test pipe 3" TBE

 

Don't forget the UICP tapped for your meth.

The car already has a full exhaust, coilovers and a couple small things.
Yeah i have factored in all my guages, just focusing on the driveline side of things.

I wasnt sure if i wanted to build the motor yet as i dont even know if i will keep this car for more than a couple months (having never owned an evo or 4wd car) so if i got a rebuild kit i can throw it in later if i decided to keep it (then 30+psi) or sell it with the car.

This build is just a quick throw it together have some fun i dont expect it to make huge power or run low 9sec quaters.
