cam sensor

does anyone know how to check cam sensor?? im having problems with starting my car.. it cranks but seems like no spark i mean i have to pump the gas like crazy and then it starts its missing and idle rough and drops... new plugs, coils, and wires still no luck..

mods are
exhaust mani
works reflash ecu
3inch exhaust (cat delete)
hard piping
front mount
hks bov( not recirculating )
works cams 269
works TB
clutch
AEM air intake

funny thing is car is not even showing any codes and when i take off it makes some ticking noise but at about 15mph it goes away ( basically at higher RPM)

ok thanks man

i check the sensor and it was showing 4.5 volts ..is that normal??
After checking it . i started the car and it was fine... i let it warm up and took it around the block and came back. it started acting up again..

i set the plugs to .25 .... i got a recirculating kit coming for my bov and new plugs (one step colder)

also i forgot to mention that all this started after i took the battery out to get it tested and put it back in
