crank angle sensor?

Does the car sound funny like a subaru. A while back I couldn't get any spark on cylinder 1 and 4. Problem was my ecu. Fried something in the ecu. Car would start up no codes. Just no spark on 1 and 4. Good luck.

this is exactly what is goin on with my car but its 2 and 3 cylinder....but i have a questions about ECUs.. if i get a new one do i have to take my car to dealership to get a um mobilized like acuras or is it just like unplug old one and plug new one in ??
