Question OEM Anti-lag System

Why don't people retro ABUSDM OEM anti-lag system? Yes it is hard on the turbo, but wouldn't it be the cat's meow to keep the turbo spooled up and offer tremendous sustained acceleration advantage?

I don't want to have to replace my turbo every 5000 miles. Besides, unless you have a big *** turbo, you don't need help spooling. The stocker spools well enough for most.

My buddy has anti-lag on his DSMlink equipped 2G, and yes, it's freakin' cool, but that's about it. Unless you're drag launching, it's pretty useless IMHO......well, that's not true, it DOES shoot big *** flames out the exhaust
