clutch help
Hey guys,
I just had my stock clutch/flywheel with a act pro-lite flywheel, fidanza 2.1 clutch, and a shep stg 2 t-case. The t-case doesn't whine, but i'm having a hell of a time with the clutch. The new clutch has about 300 miles on it. Wait let me preface this, i've been driving a manual tranny for 10 years and have broken in several clutches. The car shakes in 1st gear upon enguagement, which i have read is normal. But, sometimes i can here something (i think its the clutch) sound like its slipping when i go to engage the clutch, than its followed by the smell of burning clutch. I'm kinda at a loss, to be honest. If this normal than so be it but, i'm going to be pist if have to pay another 1200 bucks to get the clutch replaced in 1000 miles.
the only way i can get the car to cleanly engage is when i very slowly let the clutch out until the car starts to creep and give it alot of gas. Clutch is giving me zero feed back
