For those that got MAP O2 Eliminator dump DP

Ok, I just got my DP install lastnight. I have two issue. I was told it should clear the ACD but It's pretty close to touching the TC. The other problem is that the bend by part is touching the Oil Return line. I mean, touching so I'm assuming when you drive for long distance, that pipe really heat up the returning oil. Is anyone having the same issue? I could take some pic some time tomorrow after work to show you guys.

Update: Here are some pics

I didn't have either of these issues with mine. It was definitely not touching the oil drain. Take a picture and send it to MAP, maybe you got a defective part?

We certainly will, just send us some pictures and we can take a look into it for you. Just FYI this whole piece works with very tight clearances, its going to be close to just about everything (A/C, Transfer Case, Etc.)

Pic added. My main concern is that the DP is pushing against the metal oil return line. Two things that might happen due to the pressure the DP cause on the oil line: heat up the oil returning to the pan and over time the oil line might break off causing engine failure. I wish there is more room between the DP and the oil line. Enough room you can put one finger between the two.

You're talking about the steel oil return line above the DP? If that is what you're talking about, yes it's kinked. Not sure if that will affect much though.

Hi, I'm getting an used one for myself, but it won't be coming with the bolts/nuts. So, I'm wondering if I can re-use the OEM bolts/nuts on the Turbo end and Testpipe end??

Also, is the Turbo gasket supposed to be "divided" instead of one big opening??

If not, Chris@MAP, can you please pm me the price/spec for them?

Thanks

which means we'r supposed to re-use the stock bolts on both turbo end and tp/cat end then. Cool - I already have some spacers on the crossbars, so i might not need any more spacers, but if I do, i'd give you a call, Chris!!

Thank You for the fast respond!! CustomerService@MAP is No.1
