It will kick their ***. I would say 50hp plus on a setup like mine.

Never liked Cosi. Standard S2s make 15+hp more than the M2s.

@ Acree - same boat I'm in. If things work out we might do a comparison at some point. I know that Aaron has previously compared the M2s to the regular S2s, and there was no comparison. I want to say 30whp - 50whp out the top for the S2s, if memory serves.

Fact is, Greg improves upon his designs while Cosworth doesn't really (unless their cams are breaking).

Very delicately put.

I'll probably be adding these on to the list.

Did you guys make it back home safely after going out for drinks? Next time let me know if you need a designated driver.

I wonder what these would do exactly versus the off the shelf S2's that I have going in. Obviously the S2's would lose the top end.

They seem to be (while working the math off Johnny's motor) about 26whp boost to boost.

This is taking into account-

675 / 4% (10.3:1 vs 9:1) = 648 @ 36psi vs Johnny making 622 at the same boost.

It doesnt take into account though power at 7800 where Mikey is up 80whp, not just 50whp peak. This is where it gets touchy since we also have a ported head thrown in for good measure.

The sim that I refused to believe was saying 40whp on average....and on average that might be correct, but certainly not peak if everything else was equal. For purposes of this discussion I do not believe the LR2.4 makes more power because of the rods, they are there for high rpm stability.

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

To save some trouble for Greg, anyone interested in these cams can save the phone call to GSC for the time being. They dont have a name so they dont exist.

They are not going to be widely available, they will only be available through EnglishRacing, and they are not drop in friendly. There are definite requirements to make these cams work properly, headflow, springs, turbo size, compression, etc.

thanks

Aaron

Mikey,

Do you have any pictures of your O2 dump/housing by any chance?
