This is the final tune he left with

Note the very lean area in the mid range on his base sheet - which caused a major area of detonation across the middle

Although the peak whp is only 13 whp - at the cursor point (62 mph) the power increase is 26 whp !!

Also 23 whp gains from 75- 85 mph

Wow, just got done reading all 5 pages of that dude complaining. From what I got out of it, it does look like he wants to keep the tune and get money back. Al, hold your ground and just either offer the refund and reflash to stock, or retune for him.

To the guy in question, don't wanna push past 20psi, yet want lots and lots of power? Good luck, lol.

doesn't look too bad. i mean without raising boost or leaning the thing out to unsafe levels what more did he expect?

here is the one that made him get nervous so we de-tuned him

What we did to detune him was only reduce the ign timing at 65 mph - everything below that point is exactly the same

Just cost him a few peak hp - but overall a safe tune with very conservative a/f's and no detonation what so ever

Finally - I note the power band is super smooth

The only issue is the wavy up and down action of his E-01 boost controller on top - it fluxuates up and down - its not smooth - thats why we recomend the HKS EVC V - it works much better and creates a very smooth trq curve

Again I SAY IT LAST !!!

I never said DYNOFLASH WAS BAD!!! Ok ??
Boost was set to 21.5 when I left Pruven
All I said was I wasnt satify with the 13whp increase and wanted a full refund but Al keeps playing dirty and tell me THAT WAS a special tune not a dynoflash. And there is soo much details why I am so pissed at him because of his CHARACTER and Peronality. Do you GUYS really think I WANT TO GO ON THE INTERNET and bash him and MAKE things EVEN worse.

you have to understand internet was my last option because he SAID NO REFUND and insisit on giving me BS like SPECIAL TUNE. So at the END I am just fed up with his GAMES and give up on the REFUND part and went online to tell the truth.

Joe, I have to agree with Bs and Icognito. You prevented him from turning up to boost to satisfy your HP expectations. Next time if you have any doubts, communicate to teh vendor prior to your purchase.

I dont get why you are not satisfied with 297 whp???

Your boost may have hit 21.5 on the street or the setting on the E-01 may have indicated that - BUT your actual boost pressure was a very safe 20.5 on your tune - I watched the boost gauge myself

IMO: The only way to go about this regardless of whether he gained 100HP or 2 HP.
a) Get flashed to stock and get a refund
b) Keep the tune and be satisfied
Someone is going to have to compromise...

The Dynoflash is what it is. Its not a miracle, your getting your ECU reprogrammed. Results will vary because there are alot of variables. Al can get consistant HP gains because he has seen alot of Evo's and has an idea of where he should adjust fuel and timing. Some Evo's may "only" get 20HP. I gained 25Hp throughout the powerband and around 20 peak. The car pulls nicely and I got a baseline run and several dynopulls. For 400-450 it is a good deal.

Its a fun time...and would suggest others to do it as well.
Theres no hastle, which is why 90% of people go with the dynoflash. Sit back and relax...then have Al take your car for a test drive afterwords

Could have been well into 300 whp with some small changes
