84mm Compressor Cover for FP Red

Can somebody tell me how to take off the compressor cover from my FP Red turbo? I need to take off my 64mm stock compressor cover so I can put on the 84mm compressor cover. It looks like it should be a simple swap. I just need some directions on taking it apart. Thanks.

You'll need a good set of snap ring pliers. Just inspect the o-ring that seals the backplate to the compressor cover and it should seal fine. Here's a link to a DSM site with pics of how to do it, same basic idea.

^ yea when I got mine I looked at it like errrr wtf theres something wrong, but then you see the ring sticking out where youd insert the pliers to pinch them together to pop the ring out.

I don't like those things but I just couldn't find a pair beefy enough to make it work for me so i opted for the ghetto way and made my own from these.

Its a cheap piece of crap so grinding it wasn't a concern
