Injen intake and IC pipe ?

I have the injen intake and IC pipes installed on my evo ix mr and after the installation engine seems to take a long time to return to idle after high revs. Does anyone else have this issue or know what could cause this issue?

What other modifications do you have done to the car? If this is your only modification, you air ratios may be affected from the UICP and intake pipe. You could need a tune.

Also, I see you are in CO, could the changing seasons and altitude be affecting this?

sounds like during the installation you may have caused idle leak

So far this is the only modification I have. I have read how changing your intake can make your maf read incorrectly because of the airflow change, but I really don't want to put the stock one back on because then I have to swap back to the stock upper ic pipe. I thought it seemed to do this with the stock intake but is more noticable with the intake, maby i am just crazy. I guess i need to ride in another evo to see how it runs?

When I had Injen I used the stock intake with a cone and the Injen Uicp.

I would try swapping back to the stock intake but they upper injen ic pipe is routed under the injen intake and the stock upper ic pipe is router over the stock intake so you can't swap just one. Thanks for the input, it's nice to know that this is common. I guess i'll have to get a tune to fix it thats to bad
