My build Buschur 2.0 =)

Well i found out that i have a spun bearing, so now i'm having to build the motor. I already talked to kevind at evod/ and mary at awdtuning about what i want to do. I mainly drive my car around town and stuff, but since im doing everything i might as well do send the tc out to shep. Any who, my 5 speed tranny started giving me trouble so i got a super cheap low mileage 6 speed tranny. I wasnt going for major power or anything but it was cheap like super cheap lol. I go up to the awdtuning to get my car, told kevin to dyno the car. Well it made like 340 and he said something isnt right. pulled the oil filter and found ALOT of metal shavings in it. yup i know it sucks, figure it going to happen sooner or later but was hoping for later later..lol. it was either br 2.0 or a 2.4

Info on my car. 68,xxx miles
Buschur racing 35r kit
BR i.c piping
3in intercooler
nisei licp
3in turboback
aquamist hfs1
bc 272s
3port bc
1000cc injectors

Build-
Buschurracing 2.0
Either kelford 280/272 cams or gsc s2's
Fp valve springs/ retainers
Going to drop the meth kit
either stay pump gas or get a double pumper and bigger injectors for e85
spoolinup cop
MAYBE. shep rebuilt 5 speed

hmm dont know what esle im missing but ill update with pics once they get car apart.

lmk if thats a legit build.

now its time for me to get a cold

I vote on the GSC S2's.

Too bad on the bad bearing but at least with the new motor you'll be good for anything power wise and it will last a while as long as you change the oil.

yea, i was thinking about it, as well. i need to finalize what i want to do. but its either 2.4 or buschur 2.0. 2.4 is cheaper and i can sell my core.

I'd do the belts and hoses at the same time, assuming you haven't already. Oil pump wouldn't be a bad idea either. I vote for the S2's for cams.

I will be doing belts and oil pump. I'm thinking 2.4.but who knows, they are in the process of taking out my motor.

2.4 ALL THE WAY. If this is your around the town car. Dont go any other way than a 2.4 you will be loving all the low end torque for cruising around town. At the bare least do a 2.3 stroker.
