Some advice for everyone installing the B&B exhaust

I had my B&B turboback installed by my family mechanic/friend and I'd like to give you all some information he pointed me to.

The gaskets, even the upgraded ones, are still garbage. I asked him about the Liquid Copper stuff, and he said there's some issues with that if you ever want to remove the exhaust. He called my local Mitsubushi dealer and they had crushable gaskets in stock so he went over there and picked up 3 of them. I have no exhaust leaks what so ever.

In closing, use the mitsu crushables!

What did you do about the gasket going from the downpipe and 02 housing? Did you use the stock one?

So your using 2.5" gasket to connect the midpipe to the axleback? Are you using 3"test pipe, 3" cat, or stock cat? If they are the 2.5" gaskets and you have a 3" system all the way back they will restrict it a lot.

they fit the 3" fine with no problems, hell maybe they are 3". my mechanic said they won't block any of the flow. he might've cut them out, or something but he said it was a perfect fit. all he said was he got them from the mitsu dealer and they fit perfect. don't think he'd lie and say it'd restrict it

Find out what he did to the gasket and/or which ones he got. That could help alot of use out. Part number would be great.

Thanks,
Brian
