TC, or Tranny problems please help diagnose

I have a 03 evo 8 with 72,000 miles on it. I have recently taken the winters down time and changed a few things with my car. I put in 272 cams adjustable cam gears, new intake and exhaust stuff. And a clutch and fly wheel. So i get in to start up my car when im done putting eveything in !right! With torque specs! And i start it and it runs like **** from the 272's and i hear this REALLY LOUD WINE. alost like the power steering pump was screaming for help. But the sound is not coming from the valve cover or the steering pump but rather from the "i think tranny or T case" Now this noise happends no matter if i have the clutch pushed in or out.

1. Wouldent the cars gear's in the tranny - t case disengauge if in nutral with the clutch in? So how could i still be getting noise from the tranny?
2 the sound happends to get louder the higher the rpm range is.

And yess i filled the tranny and t case with fluids so i know its not that!

Please help im very pissed off!

Did you use assembly lube when you installed the cams?
Does it sound like metal screeching?

No i put a nice coating of oil on all moving parts. I did not think i had to use assembly lube on the cams. Any ways the sound is coming from under the intake manifold. I dont think it has anything to do with the cams. But then again i could be wrong. Im going to jack the car up today and get a mechanics stethiscope to pin point all the noise. I think it could be flywheel clutch? And yes it does kinda sound like metal on metal!
