Engine builders what you think about extra Clearance rod bearings?

hey guys long story short i went through 2 motors because of rod bearing issues and i because the pcw clearance was to tight and messed up the cylinder i had a couple ? reguarding the build. This will be my first time building the short-block by myself and was wondering if i should use the .001 extra clearance rod bearings from acl because i have had so much bad luck with bearing issues i want as much oil on the bearing as possible and 2nd should i get 6 bolt bearings for these rods or 7 bolt bearings?

The motor is o ringed and has Oliver rods and Ross pistons .040 over the car has a aem full blown double pumper and a buschur hta3582 and also has a built head with ferrera head components.

i have another ? the crank is stock and has been micro-polished is it normal when turning the crank with the assembly lube on the upper and lower bearing to start to see wear in marks not bad ones on the crank i did plastic gauge them and they came out within spec and perfect. they have no grooves or dings and dents just very light wear marks from turning, the crank spins very freely by hand and has next to no drag.

thanks for your guys time for reading this and anyone with a lot of experience wanting to give me some pointers will be greatly appreciated i just don't want anyone else to work on my car ever again so i figure trying it my self it will be a great learning experience. thanks guys
