Boosted cars are at vaccuum at idle and sometimes at very low load.

Remember, there's a big chunk of metal in the intake tract that is an obstruction when it's not spinning.

I know i'm asking some stupid questions, but i want to be sure before installing a turbo booster and a gauge.

What is the PSI on a evo8 turbo when it's running without a turbo booster?
What is the maximum PSI the engine/turbo can take ?
No danger to boost the engine/turbo ?

Thx

Hallman Evolution Pro is the best I think.
Excellent quality and ease of just turning the knob you dont have to have another wrench to set it. Plus you dont have to open the hood you can do it from inside the car. And if you use the grommet and hole thats on the passenger side you dont have to drill anything on the firewall.

My vote went for the Hallman, you can get them from www.boostcontroller.com for around $45 or so.

I had nothing but good luck with this part on both of my last turbo cars. (Holds boost and helps with spool up on the larger turbos).

I have the perrin It is a very good boost controller. Best of all it is cheap you can them all day for 89.99 but you can find them for 75 every once in awhile. I work just as good as any other boost controller. And is very easy to install and adjust.

I like my Turbo XS MBC, but that's just me. I've never used the Hallman, but I've heard it's pretty good.
