Ive been trying to get my evo 7 tuned forever now and i keep pm'ing vendors/tuners on here that are close to me to get a tune and turn off some stuff in the ecu like evap stuff cause the car has a evo 8 ecu in it and the cars sees that no evap stuff is hooked up and throws a CEL cause the car dosent come with any of that stuff on it. I was gonna go to ivey but hes really booked up and its a good drive away but i wouldnt mind if i could def get it done in a day. Ive pm'ed some really well know tuners on the boards that are local to me and never even reply'ed back not even to say they couldnt do it !!!! If anyone knows any well know tuners around the pa/nj area please let me know iam right outside of philly ( bucks county) area i need a tune badly car runs like **** has all the basic mods just need a tune ! if anyone knows of any good tuners please let me know asap.

I have a friend thats a really good tuner, but we dont live that close to you. We're in the Cincy area. But he can do e-mail tunes as well.

can't believe no one has said it but 4 wheel slide. Tamer is an amazing guy and tuner. Real easy to work with. all you need is a laptop and tactrix cable. It's a road tune. You log and he send you a flash, then repeat until its right. Look him up man, you won't be disappointed.

sounds like your best bet is to log yourself and send the logs to one of the many tuners that are mentioned above. I don't understand why you might not want to do that??? If you don't have the cables I'm sure you could find someone local that does

 

ohh and i forgot to add i did a "mail in flash" from a well know tuner on here a long time ago when i first got the car and i didnt notice a difference at all it ran like ****, i had a extra ecu laying around that was unlocked and plugged it in and car ran 10 times better its been in ever since, iam not really looking to do a mail in flash. I was thinking of doing it myself with the cables and software on here but too scared to mess $hit up.
