Gearbox and LSD confusion

Gearbox and LSD confusion

My mechanic in China just changed all the fluids on my Evo 9 recently and i was wondering if he used the right liquids...

He used this oil in both my gearbox and LSD, ACD.... is this correct ? I know this is what everyone recommends for the LSD and ACD but how about the gearbox ? What do u guys use ?

Tranny needs GL4 oil.

That stuff is not for the transmission.

Diaqueen is for the transfer case and the rear diff (anything with a hypoid gear). You need a regular gear oil as noted above for the transmission. Make sure you get this right or it's potentially a VERY expensive mistake for $30 worth of fluid. See links below:
