Anybody have RMR's racing catalytic coverter

I was surfing random sites looking for a highflow car since I dont want to run a test pipe and choke more than I do in CA and get a 3K fine. I came across this race spec cat on RMR site anyboy use it and does it stink like ****? It looks real small is the car gona still backfire fire like a test pipe since the honey comb is so small.

Anyfeedback would be great
Thanks
chris

here is what it looks like and what is said on the site
Evolution 8 High Flow Catalytic
Normally a catalytic converter is not on our list of racing products to develop. But due to recent SCCA regulation changes; all cars must have a working catalytic converter. That is why we created the RMR High Flow Catalytic Converter. The monolith-type converter used has the highest flow rate of any converter. It’s the closest thing to having a straight pipe. It conforms to all SCCA, EPA and Group N regulations. Includes all gaskets and hardware

here another question about RMR products , does the cat tapper to 2.5 ' , since the down pipe which is 3' tappers to 2.5 to work with the stock cat . Im sure that in order to bolt on to that it must tapper to 2.5'
im looking for something that is 3' all the way ..

i called today and the gains on the highflow cat over stock is around 5whp. Also it works with there turbo back system which is a 3' all the way throught . Which they have seen some nice gains .
Theres not much benefit from running this highflow cat.
