I got an innovate lc-1 and was getting the bung welded to my downpipe. When I got it back and went to install it. I realized that

1. The bung is in the wrong place and the dp will not fit with the 02 sensor in, as it hits the undercarriage of the car.

2. The tip of the sensor is not in the direct flow of exhaust, with the bung provided by innovate.

Now I have to block the first bung off and get a second welded on. The bungs at the shop aren't as tall as the one I got from innovate so it will place the tip actually inside of the pipe, directly in the flow of the exhaust.

I just want to make sure this is not going to be a problem before I drop the dp off to get another bung welded on.

It's fine that the sensor isn't directly in the flow of the gasses. They gave you that size bung for a reason. I would order a replacement bung from Innovate or another vendor that carries them and make sure you measure and then re-measure your placement this time. just mount the DP, take a sharpie and put the bung up to it, then draw your circle around the bung in the right location.
