Question transmission and tranfercase in a evo

I found out that I have to put in new main bearing in and I am pulling the motor and transmission out together. I am at the point were I need to pull the shaft out of the transmission on the driver side that go's to the tranfercase. How far do's the shaft come out of the transmission so it's not in the tranfercase?

You will have to pull both the axles out. One is in the transfer case on the passenger side and one is on the driver side.

If you are taking the engine / transmission out, both have to come out.

I have both axles out. but I still have to pull the torque tube out of the T-case so the motor and the tran can come out. look at number 26 to 28

I hope you've figured this out, but I just did this today. You need a slide hammer. Search youtube for a transfer case removal video.
