Question xi turbo or fp green?

i have a 2005 GG MR with 9400 orignial miles. i have all the supporting mods such as
ams licp, uicp, fmic, boost controller, intake, tbe, o2 housing, fuel pump, tial bov. ivey tuned at 316 whp 314 wtq. i have kelford 272 cams an act prostreet clutch and head studs that im about to install but im waiting till i figure out what turbo i want. im shooting for 400whp so my delemia is, do i keep the evo 9 turbo i bought and port it or do i spend the money and get a fp green and a meth kit. im also concerned a little bit about the transmission and tc, because i know the 6spd is weaker then the 5spd. i have been a member for 3 years now and i dont really post cause ive been able to find all my answer through the search but i keep going back and forth on this debate so i figured i would ask some of my fellow members what they thought. any advice is greatly appreciated

send your evo 9 turbo in to get upgrade to a HTA GREEN. you will not need meth to make 400 on that thing. I dont understand why you want meth but its your car. port the hotside of it of course and think about getting a ported exhaust manifold or a tubular mainfold for more power. You will be set after that. What about porting intake manifold and T/B

I agree with rockman you will not need the meth to make your #. it also depends what kind of dyno you want to see this number on. with your cams and supporting mods and IX turbo you should see 400 easy on a dyno jet but you will be pushing the limits of the stock turbo to squeeze much more. I would send in the IX turbo and turn it into a green and you will have you should be able to get your number on a mustang dyno with no issues. This is all of course dependent on a great tune.

yes and yes. you can only send the turbo to force preformace to get a hta green upgrade

http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...e=Lancer-Turbo

FOR HG stay with stock headgasket no need or anything special unless you stroke your motor but you dont have that now so another stock HG is perfect. Are you upgrading spring and retainer as well? if not your need to consider i highly recommend that. get it done and over with now.
