My evo8 is super loud. I been sitting here for about an hour reading on resonators and haven't came across anything specific, someone says one thing, then someone says something else.

What would lower my exhaust more, the (muffler type) vibrant u.quiet resonator or a glasspack type?

As much as i enjoy the loud sound, being at around 1100rpm idle (2.3L) is just to loud.

I got rid of my POS raspy buschur exhaust and put on an invidia which had the glass pack style resonator. i also added the muffler type, actually the exact one pictured. Now its really quiet at idle but still fairly loud driving.

 

Have any pictures of your install, after the cat i spose?

and did you notice any difference in power after installing the muffler type res?

i can try and snap some pics. I run no cat so i used the muffler type resonator to make a resonated test pipe. Im still breaking this engine in so i don't about the power diff. I would imagine next to nothing or nothing as its straight through.
