hey guys i need help figuring out whats wrong with my 03 Evo 8. tonight i was opening it up and it seemed like everything was fine until i came to a turn. my power steering is out, the battery and E brake lights are on, the car says its overheating and when i open the hood it sounds like something is boiling. i have no idea what can be wrong with it. does anyone know what can be wrong??? please help me..

 

ye your serpentine belt must have snapped

your hearing boiling because your water pump aint turning

yea and when the batt and brake light are on, usually means problem with alternator, which would support your idea of bad serpentine. and yea it's not turning the water pump either

 

how hard is it to change the serpentine belt?

 

Very easy. 10 minute job
