Reality Check?
I'll get right down to it. My goal is 475-500 hp on the stock bottom end on crap 91 octane pee water. Right now mods are:
Injen intake
Muse LICP
Injen UICP
Megan Exhaust Manifold(I know, I know, but it has worked great so far
)
MAP O2 housing
Blitz SBC-ID Boost Controler
DC Sport TBE
ACT HDSS
Other parts are not really relevant.
I have $600 saved and am thinking either keep saving for a BBK B or do Walbro 255, injectors, and GSC S1 or S2 cams.
In the "end" it will all be done but I am wonding what is the best way to proceed. I'm thinking I won't really be able to push the turbo without all the other supporting mods, but want to make sure I am on the right track. So if you all would be so kind to give your opinion on what order you would do the mods in, which cams(of the two mentioned) and what size/brand of injectors you would run if it were your car. I know this is very basic but after all the research I have done, everything is bluring together and just like the title states I am looking for a reality check if my goal can be accomplished. Thanks to all in advance.

Holy **** man, 450+ on 91? Just get yourself a 35r or bigger turbo kit.

your not making 500 on just those mods alone sorry. also you have to worry about tq since your stock block to the op. Unless you go fp black or higher you will not make it on 91 oct. You will probaly need meth injection or e85 to see those results. you will need all your bolt ons done plus a great tune to make it.
Hold off on the meth and do a complete set up you probably reach your goals and be safer.
Here's what I would do, if I was retaining the stock block along w/ a Oem turbo or stock like turbo up grade.
-MAPerformance Port and polish the fp black turbo, oem intake mani & TB, oem exhaust mani, Ebay O2 housing/ or better yet, Shearer or Maperformance O2 dump and keep the oem exhaust. To keep everything quiet until WOT
-Buschur Racing FMIC with 2.5 piping all the way around
-Upgrade fuel injectors to 800-1000 cc w/ fuel pump. Buschur double FP if your running E85 w/ 1200 - 1600cc injectors
-260 or 270 cams w/ (valve spring kit for s & gs)
-ARP head studs
-Perrin cold air intake w/ buschur 80mm pipe
-MBC and A/F / boost monitors
-OS Giken clutch (it's so quiet)
-Finally a good tune at 22-26 psi on 91 pump
- consider building your bottom end for added safety (peace of mind) trust me it goes a long way. note: substitute where as needed

So you guys would steer clear of meth? This is my dd and I do enjoy spirited driving so I'm not wanting to go too big and sacrifice spool. I know there is no data yet, but with s1's and the bbk b(going off bbk full data) what is a real number? 425ish, or is my head still in the clouds?

Just a question, any reason why the 450 goal? For a daily driver, you might not like the big turbos.
A 320+ wheel evo is pretty fun, and a 400 wheel evo with quick spool is a blast. So a peaky 450+ wheel might not seem as fun because of the lower torque on the low end.
If you haven't, get someone with a stock frame, quick spooling setup to give you a ride.
I use to want a GT35R waaay back in the day, but I drove a friend's Evo with a 35r kit and didn't like the characteristics of it at all.

ported fp black turbo
3" TBE
testpipe
Tubular manifold(mona lisa, shearers, full race) reason more power gained
Ebay or megan o2 housing or Dump
3" Downpipe
S2 cams
Ported intake mainfold or magnus intake
65mm Throttle body
1000cc injectors
Intercooler pipping
3.5" intercooler
aps twin vent bov or tial
aem wideband or innovate widband
aem boost guage 35psi
aem oil pressure guage
30 psi tune
walbro 255 fuel pump
MBC or EBC
even with all that you might come close on the low end 420. 91 is very aggessive hence me saying you will need to ether consider adding meth injection which will put you in range or getting a bigger turbo like a 35r or above and you will still need all the mods i listed. another thing you can add and keep the black would be a built head will allow better exhaust flow with it ported etc. that might do the trick with all the mods i listed above
Yeah I have a fair sized turbo and I must say driving other peoples cars with FP reds is way more fun, but pushing 91 octane to 500hp to me seems like a lot to ask from a stock bottom end/head, FP red all day for a great DD or power house

good luck !
