pretty sure its installed the best way right now its not going to go stright to the rad with the intake pipe there and if you went under the intake it would put the hose at a bad angle and may even impead the flow.

I have tried rotating the top hose & tat seems to be the ideal angle...

So... I know this thread is old and all (exactly one year I just realized lol) but I didnt want to clutter the forums with a new thread. Can anyone tell me how wide this evo 5 radiator is from the support where it mounts up top to the side of the core facing the engine? I need this style radiator but I am on a really tight space and may come down to a 1/4" or less. If its less than 2 1/4" or maybe 2 1/2" I should be ok. Thanks

you might wanna buy the cbrd rad if you are in a need clearance they make a rad that is super slim and cools extremely well with the outlets like the the earlier evos.

why did the change the location of the hose location on the radiator from the 6 to close to the exhaust manifold like on the 8/9
