Moral Dilemma: SAFCII, Dynoflash or wait for AEM EMS?

Help me.
I can't decide if I should do an AFC now, Dynoflash or wait for the EMS to get here...
The AFC is cheap and effective, but I really don't like tricking sensors, especially when it comes to things like fuel mixture.
The Dynoflash is awesome and Al's local to me, but I don't want to get reflashed now and then do cams in a few months and have to get reflashed again. It adds up after a while and before you know it, I could be spending enough scratch to get an EMS which gets rid of the MAF altogether (woohoo!), uses a MAP sensor, fully tuneable from a laptop, you know the drill.

Has anyone had any problems running the SAFC? Any downsides to it that might help me blow my car up at the track? (I do one track weekend a month usually and after a 30 minute session, anything that can break, usually does.)

Al, no need to promote your Dynoflash, I know it works and works very well, I just don't want to pay you twice.

As for the EMS, not many can comment on its ease of use, but if you're out there, I wanna hear it.

All opinions welcome.

If you want get the through the mail flash for 225 now and then you can get the custom reflash when you are ready

If you get a SAFC - how would you tune it? Your answer to that question would help me respond to your dilema

As for a stand alone

I picked up only a few hp going to a stand alone and also picked up major hassels and the need to be constantly adjusting and playing - I am in a learning curve stage so hopefully once I get it totally dialed in it will no longer need tinkering - time will tell

S-AFC is good, E-manage better, standalone the best. The S-AFC works pretty good for our customers up til now, so you should not have any problems with that at all.

Thanks

Andy

On A Stock Turbo car with PUMP gas, a SAFC will make big power and take you past the 400WHP mark. It also aloows tuning on the fly, shows knock, revs, Karman, and is great to have as it gets cooler and warmer. And if you add mods, you can alter yourself.

I agree with Boost Solutions. S-AFC is good, E-Manage is better, Power FC is best. Just depends on your power goals. With stock turbo S-AFC or E-Manage is fine. I'd go Power FC if you plan on changing it out and going for the big power.

Thanks, guys. I'm going to be going with the AFC for now, since I'm sticking with the stock turbo until it melts on me. I love that low boost threshold.
Does it allow for tuning via WBO2?

Get a custom Dynoflash when your ready, for now just get the 225 mail in flash. Best bang for the buck.

No "moral" dilemma, I just can't make up my mind. Ever.
AFC's cheaper and user adjustable. Works for me.

A tuned and installed emanage costs less than a custom tuned reflash?

Oh yeah, I'm not sure about the morality or inmorality of any of these mods.... Are you planning on stealing them?
