FP Black intake options
The inlet is actually 80mm, not 3 1/4". A 3-1/4" coupler can be cinched down to work, but if you want a perfect fit get an 80mm coupler. I'm using an 80mm to 3" Hose Techniques coupler and the difference between the two diameters is almost nothing.
i use the fp intake the silicone one.. its so annoying to get off and on tho. its like wedging a to small of shoe onto a huge foot. but once its on i dont even use clamps its so tight.
Im still on stock maf tho. but for anyone keeping maf i recommend they go with it, because you dont need to rescale maf with a silicone intake tube.

How's the perrin filter? probably flows better than k/n.
nice pic buddy im using ttp coupler with injen intake works perfectly fine no issues. but this is the least of the problems lol the SS race pipe is more of a pain in the *** then this anyday LOL
Hello. I will be ordering up my new FP Black this week and was wondering about my choices regarding intake tubes. I am on the AEM EMS and SD, so no need for a recirc pipe, MAF, etc. My only choices seem to be:
1. Dejon
2. FP
3. PPI
I don't like the FP one and much rather have a pipe over a silicone hose. Can anyone provide me with details of others available?

This guy (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...n-results.html) put down some nice power with our AMSOIL dry cone giant 7" intake cone filter
I use the 4" Dejon pipe and the Amsoil 4"x9" with ZERo fitment issues. Looks great and works well. I have no MAF or ACD reservoir in the way and my fan control module has been relocated. Yes, with the MAF and other garbage in the way, it wouldn't fit.
Its never hot to the touch ever. I never seen it go over 90F in my logs even on a 104F day.

This looks great...the Perrin did very well on the filter shootout. Is this the 4.5" ID or the 3.125" ID Perrin Filter?
