Hey guys, i have a 06 MR with 35,000 miles and i just got the thing 3 weeks ago, and i just started to notice last week this pop noise that u can feel through out the whole car when i take off at low rpms...Now sometimes i can avoid this sound by takin off at about 3,000 rpms.....Im kinda new to this whole evo thing, so does anybody have any ideas to what may be the cause of this noise...Thanks

rear diff maybe? or something with the driveshaft

 

It's tough to tell what a pop noise you can feel means. Are you backfiring? And is the car bogging (under load) when you heard the noise?

 

have you checked your plugs?

 

well he said u can feel it so i was thinkin somethin with the rear diff or driveshaft cause mine does the same thing at low rpm. but only when i reverse? idk

 

could be anything about the transsmision or HUB ASSEMBLY | WHEEL BEARING..

 

hard to tell when you are not actually in the car.should give more info about the noise.

 

sorry i havnt been on here in a while, but it sounds like if u where to hit ur knuckle on a table, u know what i mean my man??

 

sounds like it could be your differential or even a motor mount could be loose did you check that?
