Another noise thread. Help me diagnose this noise.

Hey guys my 2011 gsr, (46k miles, close to full bolt on) has been making this high pitched noise for some time now and i finally got around to record it. Ive looked everywhere and couldn't find anyone with the same symptoms.

First off its not my t-case. I just had that replaced after it was clanking mid turn on me.

Second, it only happens on decel with light throttle at specific rpms (2250, right below 3000, somewhere around 3250 as well) in 4th and 5th gear(maybe 3rd as well). the noise gets louder randomly, and never happens when actually accelerating.

The noise is clearly audible in this sound clip i took. I recommend not using headphones or start off really low volume, because it is pretty high pitched in the sound clip. Its not that loud in real life to be honest.

I don't think it plays in dropbox player, so probably have to download it and then play it.

Any ideas?

After looking up oil pump noises, i'm leaning towards that now. But every post i read about it, everyone says the noise is normal.

i don't know though it sounds pretty audible.
