Please help diagnose clutch/trans noise

This sound started when I picked my car up from having the lower subframe replaced, and the transfer case rebuilt. You can hear it idling and revving in neutral, and it goes away when I push the clutch in. I am just hoping to figure out which bearing I need to order before I pull the trans. I push the clutch in a little before the halfway point.

I would say throw out bearing.

Make sure to replace with OEM and if you dont have one order a Act Monoloc

Its hard for me to judge how loud that noise actually is from the video. My car idling with the AC on makes the same noise and there is nothing wrong - brand new everything in the clutch/transmission area. I'd suggest if it squeals then the TOB needs replacing.

It sounds more like a loud roller skate wheel than a squeal at this point.

I don't have the ACT monoloc, but the clutch worked great for 15000 miles. Better than stock because there is no chatter on low speed take offs. Would the monoloc extend the life of the throw out bearing?

Since it goes away with clutch in it tells me throwout bearing.

I recommend oem bearing

Act monoloc to prevent throw out bearing from popping off on it own down the road.

Your likely gonna damage your throw out bearing lock collar and gonna need replacing so just go monoloc

In the short term I have found a much cheaper solution, which is to turn the radio up.

When the bearing falls apart and you need a tow remember your cheap solution.

its your throw out bearing, would be ideal to get a new clutch put in as well seeing as youll already be in there.

It suck because I only have 10000 miles on the clutch and the stock clutch wasn't even done when I changed it at 70,000 miles so I didn't expect to have to redo it for a long time.

did you get a clutch kit with a throw out bearing and pressure plate. Did you do it yourself? They could possibly have a warranty on the clutch you bought. If you had it done somewhere I'd hate to see you have them replace one part in there and possibly have to pay to have it done again. Labor on r&r for a trans ain't cheap

I got a new clutch disc, but kept the old pressure plate. I also installed the ACT monoloc. The clutch feels different. It seams to engage closer to the floor, and have more travel during engagement. I ended up swapping in a Shep stage I evo viii 5 speed. The car feels quicker with the 5 speed. The 6 speed started popping out of 5th, and it was whining. I'm feeling pretty confident that the drivetrain won't give me any more trouble for a while. It's probably best that I don't go to the drag strip, but I am curious because my best trap speeds always came at the rev limiter, and now 4th is a bit taller.

Did you ever figure out what was making the noise?

Throw out bearing was the noise in the video. The trans was whining too.
