I got this HKS Super Power Flow intake on my car, anyhow just wondering if anyone of you knows how often should I change the filter? I've been using it for like 4-5k miles

Also does anyone know how much the HKS filter cost ? Thanks

 

You should replace it about every 10K miles. They are about $15 to $20, I think.

6k sounds like a good number too. That is a very good price. I changed mine out on my supra after about 10k miles and it was dirty, but wasn't terribly dirty. The Supras engine bay is sealed off very well from the enviornment though. I might order some also.

I got them $11 shipped. Waited a long time due to the color yellow. I have 30K miles supply right now so I am pretty much set for a long time. I would never buy black or grey. Why would ppl buy that color? U cant see if it's dirty or not.

anyhow is it difficult to change the filter? i mean do you have to uninstall the intake in order to change the filter? or you can just change it like that ? thanks
