It might be the cam or crank sensor.

Thanks Omni! I'll have to see if they checked for that.

If you had a problem with the crank sensor the car would probably not start at all. You said no voltage to Cyl #1, are the other three getting spark?

I had some electrical issues recently including some break up and a CEL. I changed my plugs to ngk iridiums which as you probably know you do not gap and the breakup when away but the CEL kept coming back.. the code was for poor electrical connection and o2 sensor failure....my lower o2 quit working. As far as your problem goes Id would think it is either coil or plug related but you said you changed both right?

She broke! Five of the rocker arms came off! Luckily no engine damage though! So thats the story. Shop is going to take the head off and check the valves etc. Thats what I get for over- revving at at the autox. Miss-firing is now the least of my problems

Ouch... I was hoping to get to the end of this thread and give more input on electrical issues... but sounds like you have this one (unfortunately) narrowed down to mechanical stuff.

Thanks guys for keeping a look out on on this. I usually find when my car breaks there are several levels of repair hell. The first call from the shop thinking its minor, the next finding more to it like, the rocker arms falling off, and I'm waiting for the shoe to drop anytime, with news there is engine damage. I dont know if these mechanical problems were causing the breaking- up. I guess we shall see. I'll update if I find out anything more.

Help!!

Got the call! Need 16 lifters 16 followers, rocker arms, 8 exhaust valves, and the cams are bad! Do I get all these parts from mitsu minus aftermarket cams or is there a better alternative?
