2 bald tires, 2 with 60% tread... what do I do!?

As the title states, some idiot on the forum sold me wheels and blatantly lied about the condition of the tires. He stated they were all around 80, when actually 2 of them were almost bald and the other two were around 60...

anyway, I'm trying to figure out what to do now? Do I have to buy a whole new set of tires?

can I just get 2 new ones to replace the bald ones? What do I do guys? >.<

Is it really bad for my car to be driving on 2 balding tires like it is?

You should buy all new tires because the diameter of the new tires may differ to much from the old tires and cause drivetrain issues down the line. Also which member was it? Maybe he/her can explain themself.

New tires.

Or get two tires and get them shaved to the same tread depth as the others.

I don't even remember the member's name... but I won't call him out because I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't realize the tires had different amounts of wear...

regardless it looks like I'm down about 600 bucks...

damn...

Even if you would get the exact same tires, it would't be good for the car to drive on it with 2 with different tread than the other 2. There is a technical reason for it, but I dont really know how to explain it. It has something to do with the box that controlls the AWD. If there is 1/8 difference in the tread, that adds up around the whole circumfrance of the wheel, and makes the "box" work at all times to try to balance it out.
