Im switching to E85 and FP Black setup, do yall think it would be overkill to go with this large of an injector? I dont want to have switch out a smaller injector later on when i realize its not enough and also i want a high impedance injector but the only other choice i see would be ID2000's

Any insight? thanks

I have the 2150s in mine with the FS635. When I was on stock ecu there was an issue getting the idle and drivability smoothed out. Im on a Haltech now and its fine. I hit a low 60% IDC on 38psi with my turbo so I want to say if your on stock ecu you should be fine with 1600s. Depending how you look at it, its better to have more fuel then not enough.

are you going to run e85 100% of the time? if you are then go with some cheaper bluemax 1,650's or something like that.

price isnt an issue, i want enough fuel and GOOD driveability on the streets
i was looking into the 1650's but read of driveability issues on stock ecu

What are your goals with the Black. My previous setup was FIC1250 on E85 with the same turbo I have now on 32-33psi. When it was on 35psi my IDC was 94%. It drove like stock on the 1250s. There's always the 1450s

Mikey and myself are both running bluemax 1450's on our LR 2.4 Black setups. He is making well over 650 hp on e85 and his is fine.

You will love them. The way they drive is worth the extra any day of the week.

Quote: 500 on e85
Complete stock block set up with cams, E85 --- 500 whp all day !

Go with 1600 - 2000 injectors and run E85. Only use pump gas when you can't get to fill up with E85.
