No thats not normal by design. I have an ets licp w/ stock intercooler and I was able to put my stock undertray back on with no trimming or issues whatsoever. Part of the problem I see in the first pic is that the t-bolt clamp is upside down. I would flip that a bit so the scew doesnt poke at that downward angle so much.

Thanks a lot for info. I will definately reinstall LICP and flip the t-bolt clamp.

You should be able to install the under tray back on the vehicle. You might have to loosen the clamps up and adjust the pipe around to get it to fit properly.

Thanks!

Michael

Update : I just reinstalled a ETS LICP. I moved around both couplers, mainly adjusted the coupler that connects to the turbo's j-pipe. I was able to push up more and now, it sits much higher than it used to be. I put the undertray back on with np but it looks like undertray holds and supports the licp from bottom cuz ets licp still sits lower than stock one. But it's all good. The only drawback is that the LICP is touching the A/C rubberish hose so I wrapped the hose with lots of electric tape to prevent any tears. Thanks to all of you with the info and help, especially evo unknown & Heavens Turbo who gave me the step by step instructions. I really appreciate it.

It shouldnt be hanging that low - you need to twist the coupler that is attached to the intercooler inlet more towards the rear of the car and it will level the intercooler pipe out. You should be able to fit the stock undertray on just fine.

^^+1. Loosen up all the clamps and tweak the pipe around. If it is still that low that just means that the whole system is slightly off which may cause a coupler to blow off during high boost. Once its on straight it will fit just right and no worries about blowing off under boost. ETS licp is top quality stuff.
