Need some advice

ok I have already been told my VIII Turbo is pretty much maxed power wise and my timeing cant be tweaked much due to the lack of cam gears. I was going to get a Meth kit but AWD Motorsports thread about craxked pistons got me to change my mind.

Now here are what I am looking at
1.HKS Cam Gears and Kevlar Timing Belt+tune
2.EVO IX Turbo w/install Kit

Now with the IX Turbo being a larger coldside would a retune be needed if I was to install it and run the current boost I am at right now? I plan on a FP Red later but I am tring to get a little more before I go there. I dont get my power until 5300-5500 RPMS maxpower/peak due to my cams.

Mods-
Walboro 255
Comp 272/272
Full 3" TBE no cat
MBC@24psi
AEM Intake
Forge RS BOV recirculated
ETS FMIC with 3" UICP and LICP
ACT Clutch

Please help me decide what to do next and help explain my head hurts reading others posts and online BS lol.

you should get the kelford 272's instead. everyone, and i mean EVERYONE, has told me to get those. people make great power with those cams over hks cams. i currently have the hks 272's but im about to swap them for some kelfords. if i were you, i would just save and get the fpred instead of a regular 9 turbo. just my .02

No brother I have Comp 272s already the HKS are cam gears that allows the timeing and power band to be modified some to allow better low end to mid or mid to top etc. the FP is a IX you can have it upgraded for 995 by FP so a IX turbo for 400-450+1g=1400-1450 new FP 1795= savings of 300-350 bucks.
