2.3 build?

2.3 build?

so last week i spun a bearing (#4) i wanting to do a 2.3 stroker build what all should i get whyle im doing this i know the basics like,pistons .20 rods,crankshaft,bearings,arp rod bolts,headstuds,oil pump, water pump,timing belt, so what do you guys think?

meh, to each his own but Ive heard too many issues with 2.3s.

Do that same things you said just keep the stock bore. I wouldnt mess with the block too much and your stock crank should be fine for your goals.

well i would but i spun a bearing so the crank is trash i dont really wanna get it turned,also im only gonna go .20 over because the motor had 55,000 miles on it and just wanna clean up the block a little bit.

I didnt mean your specific crank but a oem crank in general.

what about the Balance Shaft delete?or should i just keep the oem one?

if your building a motor you delete the BS of course. i personally think you should go with a 2.4. cheaper cores get that 2.3 punch with alittle bit faster spool and plenty of cores all over the place.
