e85/93 pump related question
i hope this is in the right section.
My questions are these. i am planning on getting an e85 tune in two weeks but i also want to get a 93 pump tune as well i would be saving both of these maps on an Accessport..so here is where i could use some direction. i obviously need 1000cc injectors for the e85 but i am wondering will i have any problems getting tuned on 93 with those injectors being that my car only has cams and basic bolt on mods, stock turbo as well. so yea im asking if i can get a 93 pump tune with my1000cc's for a stock turbo so i can drive around when i don't have e85? i really don't want to have to switch injectors every time i need to switch maps.
thanks in advance everyone

It depends on the injectors ability really, if you get an injector such as FIC, theyll idle great regardless of how much fuel you need. Theyre very stable.
My friend has FIC 2150's in his car right now with a stock motor (hes almost done building a 2.4 and he decided to throw the injectors in and see how they worked), with FP cams on a precision 6262 and the car idles like stock with not a single hiccup on 93. He will be running E85 once the new motor is in.

yea i have read good things about those injectors. i know the duty cycle is going to be way low for the 93 tune considering i only have cams and bolt-ons i just hope its alright. i gotta get a hold of the tuner Monday to ask.. i really would like the 93 map to be aggressive so its still fun to drive but yea i'm just trying to find out if ill run into problems having such large injectors running such a low cycle

I am in California, car was tuned by GST. I run RC 1000cc, walbro 255 and have dual maps - 91oct and E85. the RCs work well with both maps. I also have just basics bolt-ons, Cossie M2 cams with a stock Evo VIII turbo. the car is my daily driver, no issues with idle or driving.

^^ After you are done reading my response you should have no further questions:
Hi,my name is Carlos. I am running 1050cc injectors and I have many bolt ons on my 2006 Evo IX SE. I am running two maps, one for E-85 and another for 91 oct. I switch my maps thought a custom built switch that feeds from a single pin on the ECU plus another pin to lit up a LED plus a 3rd wire for the ground.
Basically I never have to plug in any devices thought the OBD II port such Cobb access port or even a lap top, my simple basic set up is as simple as it gets. Let me get this right again, I have a small black plastic box with a simple toggle switch and a LED built in. The ENTIRE wiring system consist of a ground wire, a power wire(from the ECU) to lit up a LED when switching maps and a wire from a specific pin on the ECU(3 wires in total).
Your car should run perfectly fine with the 1000cc I am running the 1050cc.
