Close!! - the light. So after I drank a few beers I went out to try and confirm the death of my transfer case. I put the car on four jack stands and slowly let the clutch out in first. She shuddered a little under protest and tried to spin the back wheels but to no avail. Just the front. Then all 3 of my ACD lights came on so I dropped her back down. Is there a way I can remove the pinon in the front so it won't engage without it spraying fluid all over the place and roll 2WD? I already dusted off my Mazda pickup but was just wondering. It would just mess up the LSD more than it already is huh?

Talking

Im gonna throw the stock clutch and flywheel back in, wipe off my finger prints and drop her off on the dealerships doorstep. If they want to screw me, they can have my wifes and my parents car back too and go **** up a rope to boot!

I love the Evo. But just the fact that they tried to screw me on it would be enough for me to not enjoy it like I should.

I don't launch the car or "abuse" it like they are gonna try and tell me I do. Its a DD. It actually belonged to a friend of a friend. Thats why the transfer case was on the way out! Lol

I'll probably end up having it rebuilt by shep, put it in and drop my warranty. Then I can do whatever.

Thats the way I look at it my way of sticking it to them was quiting and opening a shop along with the only senior master tech they had hahaha! Believe me I made em pay for it before I left too

The evo is too good of a car to let go out of anger...I've done that with other cars but knew this one had to stay so I bit the bullett and had the stuff built.
